The genuinely dangerous bit is that the spines - some of them are very long, and will go all the way in... IF he was slim, that would be enough to go through his abdominable wall, and into his intestines.... That could be very nasty. If you pause and play from 2:20 onwards, you will see what I mean. I trod on a cactus leaf once, and I pulled a 40 mm spine out of my foot, that had gone in 32mm.... I shit you not.... They are a good spine in the sense, that there are no barbs on them - and they pull out easily... But they are HARD, sharp and will go in a LONG way - no problemo. Hence the danger.
