This video is brought to you by donations from Thomas and Roger. They didn't give me a topic so I wanted to talk about the decline and end of the manosphere. My goal was always to make the mgtow manosphere mainstream when I started making daily content in January of 2014. The growth was incredible until 2018 and the entire mgtow movement on YouTube was completely demonitized. Then we saw the rise in Fresh and Fit and Pearl Davis. They spread the ideas further until they too were demonitized. These days most manosphere channels like Legion of Men, Taylor The Fiend and Better Bachelor are fully monetized and spreading the dangers of unfettered female nature. But suddenly views are crashing and the YouTube algorithm is no longer recommending the content like it used to. If this continues at the current rate most channels won't be making enough to survive in the next year or two and guys will just give up. But does it even matter anymore because it's become mainstream knowledge with guys like Chris Williamson and the Diary of a CEO podcasts spreading it to millions of people. Most of the red pill knowledge was lost over the last hundred years and the men's rights movement, men going their own way, pickup artists and black pillers incels all brought forward pieces of that female nature puzzle. Plus young guys don't care about dating or relationships as much anymore. So the knowledge on how to fix a car is useless if you're going to ride on a bus your entire life. I've always said that first it would be manosphere philosophy, then entertainment and then finally loverbots and artificial wombs. There's an evolution to male freedom. The entertainment age of the manosphere is coming to an end. There are still a few interesting channels like Hoe Math but most of his recent content is highly repetitive. The current decline is partially due to the algorithm. I've held out better than most content producers because seventy to eight percent of the people that click on my meme videos watch them all the way to the end. But other manosphere channels don't understand that audience retention is the holy grail at this point and that the only way to compete is by making yoru content more tiktok friendly. Not necessarily to put it on TikTok which pays you peanuts or YouTube shorts as well which pays a pitance but because short one to two minute videos that cut to the point fast and hard are the only thing that can keep the attention of Gen Z and Gen alpha. In the end the thing that might really put the nail in the coffin of the manosphere might be the inability for young guys and eventually all of us to sit through a five to ten minute video that makes a coherent point.
