The Church Isn’t Producing the Wives Christian Men Want

Most Christian men don’t struggle to get married because they’re immature. They hesitate because the kind of woman they would confidently commit to — long-term, without hesitation — is rare. And in a no-fault divorce culture, permanence is not assumed. It has to be demonstrated.

This video looks carefully — biblically and data-backed — at:

• Why permanence is the foundation of what men want
• What “an excellent wife” actually means (Proverbs 31)
• Why building the home matters (Proverbs 14:1)
• Why grace under pressure signals staying power (1 Peter 3)
• Why self-control, speech, and purity affect risk assessment (Titus 2, 1 Timothy 3)
• What submission actually means in the New Testament
• Why quarrelsomeness quietly destroys commitment (Proverbs 21:9)
• And why the traits church culture rewards are often not the traits men marry

This is not a rant. It’s an examination of selection patterns. Because when cultivation and selection diverge, rarity increases.

The question isn’t whether Christian women are good. Many are.
The real question is this: Are the traits men quietly commit to the traits being formed?

In a culture where leaving is easy, staying becomes the most valuable trait of all.
