The bulk of my time was the late '70s, when the Corps' focus was still on the Communists expanding in Asia (Vietnam and the Philippines. 3 of our 4 D.I.s did multiple tours in Vietnam. Our senior D.I. actually gut punched a guy who called a black guy a n!gger, and that was after the same clown was punched by the same guy whom he called a n!gger. LMAO! Those were great times. No snowflakes, and lots of thrashing. Lol.
