Teen driver appears to deliberately hit and kill cyclist

A retired California police chief appeared to be deliberately hit and killed by a teenage driver, footage from the incident shows. 64-year-old Andreas Probst was on a morning bike ride in Las Vegas last month, when he was fatally struck by a car. Video from inside the car appears to show the 17-year-old driver deliberately aiming for Probst, with his friend yelling encouragement. The driver can be heard laughing, while the passenger yells ‘Yeah, hit his ass.’

The driver has been charged with murder after the footage made its way onto social media, and prosecutors are looking to have him tried as an adult.
