What should you do when someone takes a shot at your appearance—or says something deliberately hurtful?

Most insults do not come from strength. They come from insecurity, pain, and a need to pull somebody else down. In this video, I answer a viewer's question about appearance-based trash talk and explain why the strongest response is not anger, revenge, or trying to prove yourself.

Recognize where the insult came from. Refuse to make another person's opinion relevant. Have sympathy for the weakness behind it, then move on with your life.
