... A more ideal society is not a strict democracy but a representative republic where the political class act in the best interests of the populace they represent rather than what they necessarily 'want'. I'm 110% for the politicians to have to live in the areas that such policies most affect... I would expect to see a lot of "Law and Order" policies go into effect when the politicians don't get to live in the nice part of town in a gated community with armed personal guards and instead have to live in the public hosing s*ithole they helped to create and perpetuate....
I love when people get what they voted for.
