Excellent compilation. Truly, when my wife of 33 years first got with me, she would respond to my , " I love you" with "I love you more". That always made me question whether she did or not. As I listened to this, thinking back to our marriage, all kinds of things came to mind that show me she never did. She just tolerated me as her last option.
I was her wallet only. Some things I did even repulsed her. Especially when she failed to make me into the man she wanted me to be. That was probably the only thing that kept us together, that she could not change me. My inner "assholeness" kept us together.
