Several dead and dozens injured after gunman opens fire in Prague

Many people have died and even more injured after a gunman opened fire in a Czech University rooftop. The shooter reportedly began shooting people on the fourth floor of the Charles University in Prague, forcing students to flee, barricade themselves inside classrooms, and even take precarious shelter outside the building on window ledges, several stories high. Videos also show people fleeing through nearby Jan Palach Square and across the Mánes Bridge. The gunman later photographed several times on the rooftop, armed with a rifle with a scope and aiming at people below.

According to police, at least 15 people were killed, while dozens more have been injured. The gunman committed suicide before he could be arrested, according to officials.
