Stay single to death, is all I can say. My unit went to Okinawa and the Philippines back in 1980/81. Had a ball. The last thing on my mind was bringing a woman back to the States. If anything, I would have stayed in the Philippines instead. Chances are I'd probably still be there now, or dead.
