Roe deer saved in Russia after being badly injured in a trap

A local man from Kanash village in Russia’s Kaliningrad Region was driving home when he spotted a roe deer stuck in barbed wire. He helped the poor creature untangle her leg while a trap had already taken her other limb. The rescuer took the deer home, treated her wounds, and contacted an animal rescue center. With the help of EMERCOM teams, the animal was brought to specialists in the city, where she got all the care she needed.
