THE U.S. WAS ONE OF THE 7 COUNTRIES I LIVED IN ...
It was the least humane, least caring, culture of those seven, which explains why the US is the only industrialized country in the world that does not have a national health service. I wonder if most thinking Americans realize to what extent countries like Canada, UK, NZ, Australia, Japan, Europe, etc. sneer at the US for that major failing.
