Putin to attend BRICS summit via videoconference – Kremlin

Vladimir Putin will not attend the upcoming BRICS summit in South Africa in person, but by video link instead. The two countries came to a mutual agreement that the Russian leader would not travel to the summit, amid a controversy over an international arrest warrant issued by the Hague, according to the Kremlin.
