Protesters rally on 76th anniversary of UN’s Palestine partition plan in Spain

Hundreds of demonstrators convened at Madrid's Puerta del Sol square to protest against the historic partition of Palestine, marking the 76th anniversary of the UN's decision on the matter.

The United Nations Resolution 181 of November 29, 1947, endorsed the Partition Plan for Mandatory Palestine, proposing the division of the British Mandate into separate Jewish and Arab states.
