Protesters demand govt action on shoreline regression in Spain

Hundreds of protesters dumped sand in front of the Congress of Deputies in Madrid to draw attention to shoreline regression.

Protesters, many from Spain’s east coast, emptied sandbags and poured water over the sand, demanding that the government take steps to regenerate the carrying capacity of the country’s beaches.
