Bottom line: War is usually started by covetous people. Others get dragged in through emotional manipulation (ie "freedom", or "The Motherland", etc). JMO as a Marine.
War is just part of how the world works you may not like it but every generation faces the same problem - My generation was V-Nam my father Korea & WW2 - This generation and for the past 30 years or so were taught to not have any patriotism - Witch is to say they think freedom is free you just have it from birth - But no It was payed for in blood by your fathers and Grandfathers - We in the USA are the only free Country ! We have to cut the head off the snake of Communism every ten or twenty Years or so - Its your choice now - You step up and stay free (( you your kids & your grandkids)) OR you step back like the communist want and live under the boot of a Government where you don't even have the right to speak - Or even write a post like this......... CHOOSE WISELY !

That would be a good start. The test of whether starting a war should come at a higher cost than being "deployed" to "fight" a war. The politicians family members and personal wealth should be included in the cost of voting for a war or ordering violence without an official declaration off war.
