NYC activists protest Supreme Court decision to permit firearms in public

Dozens of protesters gathered in Manhattan to decry the Supreme Court’s decision to allow the carrying of firearms in public places. The justices had reportedly overturned an earlier law, according to which New Yorkers, who wanted to get a license to conceal firearms, had to prove their lives were in danger. The Supreme Court found this requirement unconstitutional.
