Three years after Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead while covering an Israeli raid in the West Bank, a former U.S. military officer involved in the original investigation now says he concluded the killing was intentional.

Palestinian journalist Said Arikat tells RT that the U.S. “covered up” the truth to shield Israel from accountability — part of what he calls a “pattern of impunity.”
