Having grown up steeped in the mystique of the near magical properties of the Constitution and especially those of freedom of speech largely due to a certain type of indoctrination, it has become apparent in recent years that we have seen less and less support for these things, making manifest what the constitution always was, a mere piece of paper that is only as valuable as people believe it to be, which is to say that few people care much about it these days and it is showing.

People do not care about freedom and truth. Never has the herd revolted for what they consider to be abstract ideas. The only thing they care about is safety and comfort like the cattle they are. Well, things are about to change and they have nothing in front of them but a cliff and the bleating of the first sheep who have fallen into it.

I live in a country where we have the "Freedom of Expression". With expression being whatever the government of the day wants it to mean at the specific millisecond.
