Your phone is a brick yeah thats bullshite
If satelite uplinks are still running you can still use it direct or you have HAM radios or sum other loophole, so yeah phone being useless is bullshite, you can still use you phone for making notes, timers, alarms capture pictures and photos and so on if you have sum form of generator charge aka, generator and or solar or wind or water powered converter energy to charge phone and keep it signalled.
So a FARTPHONE wont be a useless brick, the apps may not be useful unless their servers get restored and back online sumhow a Phone can provide you with sum useful "Emergency News" never before it happens already when its too late and so on.
I have used "STARLINK" in an 24/7 underground gym where getting signal and internet connection is deadzone and can get nothing yet using "STARLINK" and I have seen sum of my own friends and other gym members use the same and and get access from their FARTPHONES.
Now if they didnt and threw it away and had to go underground with no flashlights or lights and into the Dark then they would be Fucked where if they had their FARTPHONES with them it could light up there path and save them or help them better than without it depends.
So what that Bullshite Racoon saying it wont help you depends on shituation its a yes or no and dont throw it away.
Id rather listen ton Pickle Rick and Incel Morty for survival advice than a Racoon.
Yeah Canned goods and water are going to be worth more than gold and survival and antiseptic protection and disinfectsnt is much better than contamination and then seeking prevention or cure.
The water filter part using a shirt and soil and rocks or charcoal as a filter for dirty or contaminated water is bullshite, if its contaminated or radiated a t-shirt and soil/roils is not gonna filter it out so you can drink it, your gonna need chemicals to treat it and neutalise it to then be able to have it into viable drinking water and when you do good luck trying not to get ambushed by ferals or thiefs as soon as its complete or done and many will want that water for themselves e.g bath and cleaniless or to cook with rather than just drink, and try to keep people away from smelling your food if you cookng or even the fire at night cos when people see that they will want to kill you for it and if they cant will try to barter with you and then maybe kill you so who fucking knows.
