Community Tornado Shelter in Birmingham, Alabama. Taylor + Miree partnered with FEMA, the City of Birmingham and HDomes to construct a monolithic dome as a Community Tornado Shelter in Alabama. The Dome is 5,000 square ft and can provide emergency shelter for 900 people.
