@Sishe1984: I have a PhD in physics. I don't work as a physicist and I don't need a job since 2019. I'm a crypto trader, full time. I watch TFM's videos only because, even though I know a LOT about analytic methods, there is a slim chance that he has some valuable insight that I can build into my system. I point out his massive bias when he talks about cryptos, like just before the 2017 peak, but that illogical bias doesn't mean that his viewpoints are all wrong. He does know a fair bit about investment, he just doesn't apply logic when it comes to some investments. And BTW, I fucking hate spammers like you.

How long does each stock market season typically last?

Hard_hairy_big_pack 2 months ago

There is no typical time period for each season, you can only know which season it is by looking at what is performing well.

If you're just learning about this, the first thing you should learn is how to use indicators.

How relevant is it in 2021, with the volume of money printed in the past few months (nevermind how much more may be printed in the very near future)?

MrA_H0Ie
MrA_H0Ie 2 months ago

It's always relevant. Especially when lots of money is printed then real asset prices climb with inflation. Or you can buy assets linked to algorithmic values like software or analytic systems.

@MrA_H0Ie: So, nothing changes...but the perception of the value of currency. '..assets linked to algorithmic values'? Like bitcoin, or some other 'assets' on paper?

MrA_H0Ie
MrA_H0Ie 2 months ago

@anonmachina: No, cryptos are just one example. I mean all kinds of software, anything that's a solution to some problem and it's based on automated computing.
