I may actually get some lightweight metal pipes myself for a couple blades I have.. As far as the Hipoint carbines go . I have a 9mm with 20 rd mags.. I wanted range and accuracy.. I shoot (plus power) +P golden saber 125 gr hollow points.. in attempt to match the one shot one kill seffectiveness of a 357 magnum.. keep in mind this is a 16" rifle barrel.. with +P ammo.. at 100' through a metal paint can.. sitting empty on a chair.. the can does not move when shot.. 2 holes clean through.. .can does not even slide.. on a metal chair.. it has some velocity goin on.. I can imagine though the punch of a .45 caliber +P through a 16" barrel at 100'... not sure if they have extended mags available for those yet..
