ITS NOT JUST ABOUT THE MAN AND THE WOMAN, ...
it's also about the other guys the guy is playing against. He can't just FU those other guys. The woman should have realized that and agreed with him, that he would come to bed after his game had finished. She was selfish and self-centered.
She wasn't cheating on him during the night out? Or is this is the second husband?
The dynamic actually works better when she's at his beck and call and he's got no issue making her wait. They might complain or pout, if they pick a fight there's something else going on, but most women like men that put them in their place, which is not in charge. They want to know that you're in control, not the other way around.
Women are like cats - letting them wait for a few hours to be fed never hurt anyone.
