I cannot logically understand how councils go Bankrupt after taking all that money of us for pole tax and don't spend it on us, they should be rolling in it, and I suspect some ASSHOLE is as well. My council seem's to be run entirely by Femon's as well except the repair guys that is, so I expect there is NO Accountability then?

The thing with Councils they have forgotten is they don't have as much power as they think. for a start I rent my Once Council bungalow from a Housing Association, so if I stopped paying my Pole Tax they cant throw me out, Ok I may lose my council Rent Benefit, but I still cant be thrown out even if I have to pay the landlord full rent. Much of my rubbish I recycle for myself, like cardboard ans plastic I make useful stuff from it. I only have a green bin half full every two weeks and my recycle bin always has little in it after using the stuff to constructive use. trying to get anything fucking fixed or replaced is almost impossible so I tend to do my own repairs I know will be better than their shit. I was told a month ago when the heating was serviced that my fire alarm they THEY provide was out of date and urgently needed replacing, heard nothing from them since that day. In fact I'm gradually reverting back to the old way's when I was a very small Boy, I do what I learned from Nan and Granddad, I was always known as Mr fix it or Mr Make do and mend anyway. Councils are all a CON anyway.

We've just got an LGBTQ Labour council after years of a tory one, which wasn't perfect but acceptable. This Labour Lefty one takes our poll tax money and does FUCK all, thery don't even cut the grass, the bin's are never emptied on time if at all, The roads have more fucking POTHOLE's than Derbyshire has POT HOLE'S. It's all going to POT I guess? I live in a nice quiet area as it happen's but go down the road there is massive fly tipping problems because since Covid you have to BOOK a time to go to the local dump to recycle shit and waste.
