I'm learning Japanese as a hobby since I watch Vtubers (about 2 years now) and I can confirm from what I roughly understand in this video that the subtitles are honest.
Of course I don't understand everything, especially when the translation is by dubbing overlapping the original, but I understand enough, e.g. all numbers, words like particle (when they talk about microscopic objects), high, low (as in body temperature) etc.
And I have a PhD in physics, so I understand why they talk as carefully as they do when they talk about what they can not prove or disprove.
That Prof. is really pissed off. At 10:12 in the video the translator was not exaggerating with "You idiot". The professor said 阿呆 (both あほう "ahou" or あほ "aho" is correct pronunciation) and that's what it means. A Japanese Prof. will not say something as insulting if he's not 100% certain that millions of lives are at stake.

The media now know they are on the losin side and are trying to cover their tracks.
They deserve to be beheaded.
