Yes, the allure of the west is a giant fucking lie, and it's a lie that gets told on purpose.
The west's attitude toward immigrants depends on sex. Female immigrants are welcomed and used as cumdumpsters. Male immigrants are oppressed and used as coolies, denied all promotion prospects no matter their qualifications. Because they are being treated differently, the men and women can't relate to one another's experience of the west, and are divided by this. So many marriages and families that would have fared well in their home country get absolutely destroyed in the west.
