I told the DRM bullshit artists to go fuck themselves when it came about that you can't make copies of the material on the CD / DVD - because the disks scratched, were a pain in the arse to use and carry around and it was easier keeping it all on the hard drive, instead of a stack of disks.....
OK so you spend $xxxxxx on DVD's and they get lost, scratched, eaten by mould, just get old etc., and the company says you paid for the content but the medium it came on - when that goes tits up - they won't replace the DVD.... and after 5 or 10 years - it's no longer available to repurchase....
You know - so if you had not of copied it to a hard drive AND made a back up copy - just in case your HDD goes - what you paid for - the content - would be gone for ever.
Fuck off you DRM nazies... you and your bullshit business model.
