The UK police were well respected all over the world and by crooks years ago, today they are the Gov enforcers

@SoloMan Zone: Yep as a kid I respected the Police, but we are talking the 1950's/60's Here. Iremeber going for a little walk with my Tin plate Tri-ang milk lorry by the river. I went to see my Granddad that worked at the Gasworks, but he wasn't there. A Policeman found me, I had lost the lorry I think it must have fallen in the river? The policeman took me home in a Police car with the Bell going as well, that was great fun, I was only 35 at the time (SORRY 3 years old) at the time. ~But my Dad beat the crap out of me when he got in. but I always will remeber the kind Policeman and the Police car driver for my little adventure.

She certainly looks a lot rougher there, but I have no sympathy
