Vixen's actually a film about anti-communism. Yes, I'm serious. Watch all of the way through and you'll see what I mean. I don't agree with the ending though, because the war in Vietnam was definitely an unwinnable war and no doubt the film's main character ended up cannon fodder. Vixen also explores racism. But there's also sex and of course that "baby brother!" scene in the shower. The film was recently remastered on Blu-Ray, so if you like it, pick it up!

Finding a watermelon in the winter and your yellow inside haha Fucking Brutal Racism
Vixen wont Fuck Spades (Blacks) or Cripples haha thats my kind of woman.
Notice that the first and only slur to the black main character is said by the Cuban communist. Vixen is heavily racist, but she dances around the term throughout the film. It isn't until we meet the Cuban antagonist who says to the man who feels that he no longer has a country or a home, that Cuba will make him a ruler, that he can go there and be welcomed. So when this is found to be a lie and communism is challenged, in a fit of anger it's not Vixen who shouts the n-bomb, it's the man who tells our main character, that he too can be a ruler or a powerful person in Cuba. They always try to convince you, especially if you feel you've got no place to call home, that they can fix it, that they will make things better. You'll finally be respected. But what you don't notice and these characters did, is that man who promise so much holds a knife behind his back and he's ready to stab you to death at a moment's notice.
