Governmental Internet Power Grab?... FCC Adopts New Rules

Published on 18 Nov 2023 / In Film & Animation

The FCC (in a 3:2 Vote along US party lines) has adopted new policies with regards to discrimination and Digital Equity.

These policies are some of the most broadly defiend and far reaching regulatory claims in recent memory, calling motive into question and making it difficult to understand how, when, or why this power will be used.

Even though he can't agree on what's going on, I know what's going on, they're preparing to well essentially rule us.

I know we like to believe that a collapse is happening, but they keep using the words you will owe nothing and be happy, now obviously you won't be happy, they're creating a combination of a surf class and Welfare on fixed income class, which essentially means Ubi Universal basic income in order to control us.

It's directly out of 1984, and also has some undertones of that movie They Live, them being the aliens controlling the population of course.

@KEEPER: Text to speech / dictation software / autopredictive texting - all problematic...... Though some of the voicing "Text to Speech" software is now very good in terms of sounding natural..... This is brilliant and really kind of very sophisticated and heavy duty.... Need Linux to run it but..... I was really impressed. https://github.com/mkiol/dsnote ----- About Speech Note Linux app. Note taking, reading and translating with offline Speech to Text, Text to Speech and Machine translation.

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: not that kind of text to speech, this one you send your voice through and it types it in for your lazy ass lol.

@KEEPER: Yeah some of this is now impressively good... remember the programs like Dragon Dictate etc... and all that - spending 3 x a much time fixing up all the mistakes, as I could have just spent straight typing it...

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: it's still sometimes like that depending on which program your using with the text to speech program running, like it won't work well with youtube's own app on phone, i mean it does work, but it shuts down when you least expect it and sometimes you have to say filler words to get it to put in the last sentence, it's bloody annoying to deal with.

@KEEPER: I reckon though, getting a good fast keyboard is the go. I don't know your OS - but here is the windoze version.... https://www.pckeyboard.com/page/product/NEW_M --- and this is what I use.... because I am naturally superior..... https://www.pckeyboard.com/page/product/UWZBP4A

@Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson: i don't believe i have ever purchased a keyboard over $20 bucks lol. i'm not using my text to speech right now, i'm using my cheap ass keyboard and i do ok using it, but i tend to spell things incorrectly more often with it, but i'm also having issues with my fingers from time to time, it's like they are frozen and won't move like they used to, maybe i damaged them with my various jobs through out the years, but i am also dyslexic so that could be apart of the problem with my misspellings.

@KEEPER: Joint damage is what comes with using cheap keyboards... They are made to a price, to be as cheap as possible... I write heaps and heaps and heaps... Get the GOOD keyboard.... they have mechanical switches in them, and they last for 20 years - especially if you keep the dust out of them... like cover them when your not using them etc... Worth EVERY cent. They weigh 5 to 7 pounds, have a steel plate inside, are lethal in an office fight, and run like heavy machine guns..... Totally excellent. I had 5 of them, two just wore out, as in really old and HUGE amounts of typing on them... Now I drill a small hole in the top, so I can pump some compressed air inside them, when I vacuum the keys.... it's a very dusty area... farming and wheat etc.. So I have one in excellent condition, in use and two spares.... the cost freight wise is it's cheaper to get 3 boards at a time, that, and the freight, and the exchange rate... but I have excellent keyboards and they run for years..... flat out...

Seriously - just get the good keyboard and be done with it.

@KEEPER: The key boards are made of a package deal, so they make them as cheaply as possible from the cheapest and nastiest and lowest cost parts possible... Hence a shit cheap keyboard that is bad for your finger joints.. Must go.

Life_N_Times_of_Shane_T_Hanson

@KEEPER: You see - cheap power supply, cheap hard drive, cheap mother board, cheap graphics card, cheap monitor, hardly any RAM, cheap keyboard etc.... Well all the stupids bite on the advertising, "Why pay $2000 for a home computer system when you can get an absolute bargain from us from only $599.... Super Processor, Mega Bright Graphics, Big Screen, amazingly amazing" but the shit keyboard is the part you pay dearly for, because they fuck your finger joints... Hey! You can Buy these Pirelli tyres at $400 each, or you can buy Flung Dung Tyres for $40 each... The Pirelli's are still going at 120,000 Km and they grip like shit to a stick, and the Flung Dungs are as greasy as fuck in the wet or dry and are worn out in 10,000 K.... Same issue with the cheap crap keyboards.... only they are fucking with your fingers... They are BAD to use. Get a proper keyboard, you won't regret it.
