Unlike the women of the west, she is worth something....

The engine looks like it needs a full rebuild - pistons, rings, bores, valves and valve seats, and possibly main bearings.

It might "burn out" the oil in the top end, once running, hot and under a full load...

At least a degumming of the rings and deglazing of the upper cylinders....


Also the brushes, the armature and the bearings etc... in the alternating current generator - they MIGHT be near or at the end of their service life... They need to be cleaned, service, checked and any replacements done also.....

But when it was fucked from the rock fall, they probably knew the engine was OLD, worn out, and now damaged, and going to take a LOT to fix up and it was going to be cheaper just to replace it.
