Gen Z gives the Bible a hilarious makeover

An anonymous TikToker has gone viral for spreading the teachings of the Good Book, but adding extra rizz and drip. The account, known as ‘Gen Z Bible Stories,’ has converted millions of heathens to their way of thinking, by retelling verses in zoomer slang. The updated word of God includes glad tidings like ‘the son of the top G saving everyone from their Ls,’ God ‘coming in clutch,’ and followers testifying that Jesus’ teachings ‘high key slapped.’

This tongue in cheek account has actually led to a renewed interest in the Bible, with many commenters demanding a print version of the teachings, or even a Gen Z church. The TikToker has said that they ‘always try not to be disrespectful to the text or to stray from any accuracy,’ and that they view their videos as a ‘translation,’ rather than a joke. Hey, if it works, it works.
