**Verse 1**
At sea where the shadows breathe,
Old ships lie, lost beneath the sea,
Corvette Donna Freja on the patrol,
Sailing waters, old stories unfold.
An island looms, radar watch keen,
But danger whispers cuts the serene.
A Seabase ship breaks the silent night,
There in the cove, no chance to fight.

**Chorus**
Ghosts of the Triangle call out in despair,
Waves of the past rise up in the air.
Fight or flee, under moon light,
Will the Freja engage the fight?

**Verse 2**
A cruiser’s shadow, sharp and swift,
Guns pointing fierce, the air is a rift.
Captain’s blood hot as a flame,
Decide in seconds, the cruelest game.
The Commodore, monitors the chase,
Information’s life, a dangerous space.
Fins in the dark, chasing their prey,
Past and present, a to price to pay.

**Bridge**
Caught in fate and courage worn thin,
Echoes of battles, places they’ve been.
Water graves whisper, every tide’s song,
History's grips, the Freja must be strong.

**Outro**
Through the Triangle's they’ll sail once more,
A Corvette fleeing, but her spirit will roar.
In the depth of night, courage runs deep,
She’ll return to fight, where the enemy creeps.
In the dead of night.

At 1:06, :07, and :08 you can see the bow out of the water and the foam / spray of the propellors being out of the water....

My old man had the conversation skills of a house brick... but he told me a few monosylabic tales about big waves and heavy storm seas...

I was on old 1950's vintage Minesweepers in the Gulf War. I remember often carrying a cup of coffee and taking one step up a flight of stairs. Almost Zero G on the down dip into the water.

@KerrAvon: He did tell me that during WW2 the Queen Mary was anchored off the west coat of Tasmania and the captain logged that he ran into 120 foot waves - that are the biggest waves he had ever seen.... EVER. 45 years later I found the pictures taken from a biplane (Hobart Mercury News paper ???) https://www.encyclopedia-titan....ica.org/community/at and https://www.encyclopedia-titan....ica.org/community/th and https://i.pinimg.com/736x/11/f....a/4b/11fa4b9839f0d04
