Celebrities are some of the dumbest ppl on the planet, and every time they put their backing on something, it's always something stupid because they don't know any better, but ppl look at them like they look at the part they are playing as an expert.

think of MacGyver from the 80s, ppl thought he was this really great man because the part he played in the show, but in reality he's a fucking moron, now i like Richard dean Anderson as an actor, but when he opened his mouth about shit in politics he started looking like an moron because he knew nothing of what he was talking about and pretended like he knew what he was talking about, most Celebrities end up being NPC actors in their real life when they start talking about anything outside of acting.
