Florida man uses 1yo son as human shield during kidnapping

A man from Florida, wanted for kidnapping his own son attempted to evade arrest by using the child as a human shield.

Brandon Loehner had been on the run for a week after allegedly kidnapping his own son from his girlfriend at gunpoint when he was spotted by Flagler County law enforcement driving erratically along a Palm Coast parkway.

Fortunately, the child was rescued as Loehner was tasered and fell to the ground, with officers trying to placate the distraught one-year-old as his father was eventually overcome.

The son was reunited with his mother, while Loehner now faces multiple criminal charges.
