Firefighters battle blaze in French South

Over 1,000 firefighters struggled to contain a wildfire that has already burned more than 7,400 hectares in the Gironde and neighboring Landes regions. France is in its fourth heat wave of the year and it is facing ‘the country's worst drought on record’, according to officials.
