This is the second volume. I'm still not exactly crazy with the direction the story is going, but I definitely like the black vampires, I think they're a great, formidable enemy. Much more interesting than the Tyrant ripoff. He even uses his claws in the same exact way the Tyrant does. The claws are literally in the same spots. (Notice when he impales that guy) There's inspiration and then there's straight up copying. But oh well, I guess they liked the design and made it metallic. I'm definitely glad to see a more mature and headstrong Luz though. Some of you though, might not like this change in her character and that's completely understandable.
