This brought to mind a guy I haven't seen in years. I met him when he was in his early 20's and he had been in a relationship with a girl for 6 years. She was pushing to get married and he asked her to wait a few more months until he graduated college and had a job (like they'd planned). Apparently she couldn't wait so she broke up with him. By chance he ran into her a year later and she was already married and seemed to barely know who he was, as if 25 years had gone by. That was his first big Red Pill.
