Believe it or not I prefer this one over New Vegas. Don't care at all about 4 or 76. Classics are the best Fallout games, but different because combat and camera. Anyways I like FO3's open hostile world. Random Events add some flavor to the local area you are exploring and multiple different factions can appear in interesting areas. Many interesting buildings to explore. I like the dark metro systems but most people hate them. New Vegas proper is cool, but I like the DC zones because it's a shipwreck graveyard of free exploration while everything around wants to kill you.
New Vegas is great also. I just wish it had more hostile environs to explore. In NV there's a NCR or Legion outpost at every corner. Too much talky, not enough adventure/explore on your own terms. Boulder City for example could be a large Raider base or Mutant base. Instead it's another side quest area with main story NPCs/factions where you don't want hostilities with anyone.. yet. No Random Events anywhere. While NV is praised for it's superior dialogue it can't compare to the classics that were made before mass sanitation Western censorship. NV dialogue/writing is better than FO3's childish writing for sure though.

42:20 - You can save the two siblings. Have to rush the two pistol guards and kill them first. Determines the siblings fate if they are around or not in a future side mission. There are many subtle changes depending on your actions during the Vault Escape to coming back later for Trouble on the Homefront.

Thanks. I didn't know they were saveable. I knew you could spare the overseer or kill him but I didn't know some of the others were saveable. I'll make note of that for a future playthrough thanks

Fallout 3 is one of those games that I've played multiple times but never finished because I tend to get bored with my character so I start over with a new character. It's still fun enough to make it into my Top 100 games though

@AgentofSocialMediaChaos: Funny you mention taking Amata with you. I have a mod that lets that happen. She's one of the sexiest female characters with the correct mods also. I see you are not using any mods. Pro tip - Carryweight is bullshit. Use the command console to boost your carryweight. Games improves drastically when you aren't encumbered all the dame time.

@Toki: Thanks. I'll get this game on PC then so that I can do that. I have it on my Xbox 360 and Xbox One(via backwards compatibility) so modding it is not really an option since consoles are harder to mod on than PCs

@AgentofSocialMediaChaos: I spent hours setting up this game. Worth it though. I believe it's called Amata Companion mod. You'll have to start over of course. There's a Speech check right before you leave the big vault door. You may not have time to mod everything because it's a task. I advise the channel on YT called Gopher. Mod tutorial video that is very helpful. Such as unlocking the game's 2GB memory lock. Damn game consoles ruined those games dumbing them down.
