Eco-protesters rally against nuclear power, raise alarm over Fukushima water release

Protesters took to the streets of Tokyo to call for action on climate change, as well as an end to nuclear power and fossil fuel energy production. The demonstrators also objected to the Japanese government’s decision to release treated radioactive water from the damaged Fukushima power plant, saying that ‘in the case of radioactivity, no matter how small the amount, there is no way to prevent contamination.’
