Oh my God, this women is a mistress of projection. Yes, men have been hurt, and badly. And we are keenly aware that the world at large does not give a fuck or better yet—revels— in that pain that it’s complicit in inflicting. If the dating battlefield was simply uneven and nothing else, we might be able to manage. But the interaction with women as a whole is disproportionate against men , as it can do damage across so many facets of our lives. You hear women harp about the potential for rape and death. But imagine being financially raped through the court, over and over. Imagine a false claim causing you to lose a job, and not be able to counter sue for lost damages. Imagine a woman having a false relationship with you, because you had the makings of a good provider, and may be raising someone else’s kid with your own money—- unwittingly. Yeah, men got grievances with women, because many women are deceit incarnate.
But if women really wanted love, a true union with a man whom they loved for who he is not what he provides, she would provide a safe haven for him. A hug, a good meal, holding each as you sleep. Men like simple things.
The thing is, men receive abuse every day. The world is harsh and unforgiving. Our world is literally made of consequence and punishment, and women cannot understand that because their world is full of bounty. People are generally longer to women. We cannot say the same. So making an environment that is similar in dating and the home is just going into another circle of Hell for us. Many of us would rather faced the loneliness than be with a woman with a laundry list of expectations.

But bringing it back. The world is hard for men. No one else should know it better than another man. Give your kindness to your fellow man, because the world is not your friend.
