‘Doctors, not slaves’: Medical workers go on strike in Madrid

Thousands of medical workers marched through the streets of Madrid to denounce healthcare cuts made by the local government.

Doctors, nurses and other medical personnel have been on a partial strike for months, accusing the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayuso, of dismantling the public health system to benefit private companies.
