LOL..... The old 33 and 1/3 Long Play Audio Machine....

In one sense the sound quality can be VERY good....... Full Analogue.

Where as the entire MP3 catalog can be kept on a 1TB micro SD card the size of half a small peanut....

If each Good Quality MP3 was say 10 meg, that little MicroSD card holds like 100,000 recordings.

BUT the same amount of songs on a LP recording = 10 songs to an album and each album and jacket, is about 30.5cm by 30.5cm and 3mm thick, x 10,000 albums.

10,000 LP's would be about 3.2 cubic meters and 2,200 Kg.

I somehow can now see why digital won out.....

Add on the play lists and HUGE variety of materials that you can have as saved recordings.....
