In an insider trading case over the development information of a new work of the popular game 「 Dragon Quest 」, Tokyo Geodetic Special Search Department arrested the new suspected game creator, Hiroji （57）.

According to a special search department announcement, the middle suspect was a member of the game company giant 「 Square Enix 」 （ Sukueni ）, and in late January 2020, Sueni and the online game production company 「Aiming」 Was jointly developing、He said he knew important information about the new game 「 Dragon Quest Tact 」 for Sumaho.

The suspect allegedly bought approximately 10,000 shares of 「Aiming」 for approximately 2.8 million yen before the information was published. Arrest charges are insider trading of the Financial Instruments Trading Act.

In this case, Kou, former Sukueni employee Tae Saki (38 ) and acquaintance Suzuki (40 ) were also arrested on suspicion of insider trading. The two are said to have bought approximately 162,000 shares of Aiming for approximately 47.2 million yen.

All three are believed to have purchased the shares, thinking that Aiming's stock price would increase if information on 「 Dragon Quest Tact 」 was announced. It is not disclosed whether the three were selling out of stock.
