It's the same distance for men and women - from the sinking ship to the shore.

AND this is proof positive how stupid most people are... "Oh we can only get off in the life boats! - Save us."

The ocean is warm - it's Italy.

It's half the width of the ship, from the ship to the shoreline....

It was smooth seas, fair weather and the sea was calm....

I can drag up Frightening Photos of ships sinking... This was a NICE short swim to the shoreline...

Fuck leaving the ship, I would have swum back... had a couple of days of good food, and a nice quiet place to sleep - that is a fucking holiday.

@usr6874038614: IN the last picture, with the boat that is closest to the camera - you can see 2 people standing up in the back of the boat. If you open the picture in a NEW tab, and ZOOM right in on them... It's like 30 meters from the ship to the shore....
