It's because of communism, the communist party controlled the food distribution.. There were a lot of famines during these era's that's what pushed chinese people to eat strange things in order to survive.. It became like a traditional dish.. Same in some countries in Africa they eat dogs because of famine...

@Doggk: You are absolutely correct..... I have a feeling very soon you will be seeing american citizens doing the exact same thing since the parasites in charge are dismantling the food chain and understand in order to fully control the people you first must control the food and water.
