China's Military: drills reveal major problems & Getting harder to get out of the first island chain

Why didn't the PLA test-fire missiles this time? It’s likely related to what happened in August 2022. At that time, in retaliation against U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, the CCP conducted military exercises and fired 11 missiles, 5 of which landed in Japan's exclusive economic zone.
The biggest problem for the CCP is that Taiwan won't be fighting alone. The Chinese navy is blocked by the long chain of the first island. As long as the U.S. and other nations work together to seal off key straits, there is no way for the Chinese navy to move beyond the first island chain. And recently, the First Island Chain has become more tightly blocked than ever before in history.

indeed, China could send a soldier to deal with every one of us in the USA. We are fooked, imo. Hopefully they're perusing some individuals to keep from killing since their human capital is worth keeping them alive.

more manpower = more people die, untill you run out of ammunition (all kinds), now China is a nuclear power, so... that obviously changes thing
