@Doggk: That's the world we live in today? eithger people kjust don't care or they are so frightened of litigation in some way if they get involved, a sad state of affairs.

@mrghoster: No no.. In most parts in the world there's at least 1 person who will help you.. But it's a common thing in China to not help somebody in the need.. There's a story about a woman who had a heart attack in a corridor of a metro station.. She fell on the ground and stayed there for 2 hours while thousands of people passing by saw that woman on the ground and they did absolutely nothing.. The woman died when the paramedics came to rescue her.. If someone called them earlier that woman would have survived.. And you have thousands of stories like that in China.. It's disgusting.. It happens because the victims are able to complain at the police and say that you "the helper" are responsible for what happened to the victim.. And you can be charged for this.. It happened so many times that people don't dare to help somebody in a need for help..

@Wolf178: They just don't want to be involved in any way possible in that situation.. Because they're afraid of the repercussions.. That's China..

@Doggk: Dam, and we are supposed to be higher beings than animals.

@Doggk: This is already prevalent in America. A woman stranded by the side of the road tried to sue people who drove past & didn't help. When one of the men who drove past was confronted, all he said in his defense was "#metoo". Conversation over.
