But in another sense, since the morality of protecting "children" from exploitation by predatory adults, has become perhaps deservedly but into excess - at least in perspective - that since women are fertile from puberty to about 30-ish - we will say 14 to 30, everyone forgets that once upon a time - LARGE families were the norm - meaning OUR grand parents and especially our great grand parents - were getting married at 14 years old and having lots of children.

As soon as the "children" could ejaculate and ovulate, they were married up and moved out... so to speak.

AND since sex is not about legislated "morality" and "Won't someone think if the children!" - clutching ones pearls in fright... And there is a difference in some ways and to different extents, between modern ??? western culture, and very long standing traditional and tribal societies... in regards to age, sex and relationships....

So in regards to being a sexual parasite who preys upon 14 year old for self gratification - this is very different to taking a 14 year old as a wife and raising a family with her, with the societal, familial and spousal responsibilities that come with this.

Hence the cultural norms and expectations and the issues of context come into this.

I think from my own experiences, people who just use others, without giving a fuck about them, are where a great deal of harm is caused.

However, taking someone from one good family, into another good family, as a social contract, to expand the family and to reproduce the species - is an accepted practice in all societies - all around the world - since antiquity.

Within limits - some things can be clearly harmful, and some things are just a part of getting on with life as they know it.

It pays to be clear on the distinctions and differences, and not cite speculation, half truths or hear say as fact, or as an overall issue, when it's fairly narrow in scope.

Those without morals, values, ethics, and principals cannot hide it for very long. They ALL tell on themselves eventually.
